Description:
The 3606 MainStreet is a compact, high performance voice, fax and data multiplexer. It is ideal as either a narrowband feeder multiplexer into a wideband corporate backbone network, or a narrowband point-to-point multiplexer under central network management and control. Equipped with a single X.21 or V.35 aggregate interface, the 3606 MainStreet Little Mux can carry voice, fax and data with bandwidth utilization efficiency approaching 98%. The 3606 has four sync/async V.24/RS232 data circuits that can operate at speeds up to 38.4 kbit/s. An optional interface module can be added to provide two additional voice/fax or data ports. A wide variety of optional interface modules are supported.
