The AK500 Compact Unit enables the point-to-point transport of
high-quality, high bandwidth Carrier Ethernet service (EoCu) over bonded copper
pairs. The AK500 provides 60 Mbps of bandwidth, capable of
delivering carrier-grade services to 12 Kft/3.7 Km and beyond. The hardened unit
supports line powering over the same copper pairs that carry the data.
Asymmetrical or Symmetrical bandwidths up to 100 Mbps with a 30% greater rate
and reach over other bonded copper products. Utilizes MIMO on DMT technology for
spectral compatibly with other ADSL technologies.

Standards ANSI T1E1.417, enables the AK500 Ethernet services to co-exist with
other services in a binder, ITU G.998.2 and NIPP T1.427.02. Ethernet-based
Multipair Bonding (based on IEEE 802.3ah EFM), IEEE 802.1 and 802.3 LAN
standards and Metro Ethernet Forum MEF9/MEF14.
AK5000 Carrier Ethernet Point to Multipoint Working in conjunction with
the AK500 and with the same link functionality, the Aktino
AK5000 Point to Multipoint system enables the transport of high-quality,
high-bandwidth Ethernet service (EoCu) over bonded copper pairs. The AK5000
provides three 10/100/1000 BaseT RJ45 & SFP including 100 BaseFX 1000 BaseX
(GigE) single point network uplinks. The AK5000 consists of the AK500S shelf,
line cards, and management/uplink cards. The compact remote unit facilitates
deployment in locations where space is at a premium.
AK3000 Bonded copper Carrier Ethernet access products
The AK3000 product family enables the point-to-point transport
of DS3 and Fractional DS3 (Channelized, ATM and Clear-Channel) service over
bonded copper pairs. The AK3000 products bond copper pairs, creating a
high-bandwidth link capable of delivering carrier-grade service throughout the
Carrier Serving Area (CSA) (12 Kft) and beyond (18 Kft). The AK3000 is
environmentally hardened and can be either line powered or locally powered.

AK355 Bonded copper Carrier Ethernet access products
The AK355 product enables the point-to-point transport of up to 100 Mbps Carrier
Ethernet (EoCu) or DS3/Fractional DS3 (Channelized, ATM and Clear-Channel)
service over bonded copper pairs. It bonds together two to 16 copper pairs
creating a symmetric or asymmetric high bandwidth link capable of delivering up
to 100 Mbps out to 12 Kft/3.7 Km or 45 Mbps out to 17 Kft/5.2 Km. The AK355 is

AEX-50 Converged TDM/Packet Access Terminal
The AEX-50 advanced pseudowire access terminal extends networking to the
first-mile by
enabling concurrent high-density legacy TDM access and Carrier Ethernet
services.
The AEX-50 maintains an all-packet infrastructure in a point-to-point or a ring
application offering a TDM/Ethernet interface mix, with up to 8 x 10/100
Ethernet and 8 x T1/E1 active service ports in a 1U footprint. Traffic is uplink
by dual 100FX/GbE links, the AEX-50 delivers scalable, low-cost multi-service
access and 2G/3G/4G wireless backhaul. AEX-100 Pseudowire Access Terminals
The AEX-100 is a carrier-grade pseudowire aggregator providing converged access
of TDM and Ethernet based services over an IP core
or metro Ethernet network. Capable of supporting multiple pseudowire CPE’s, the
AEX-100 delivers hard QoS-backed service to the aggregation site.
Designed for mid-point aggregation or gateway applications, the AEX-100 has two
UNI expansion slots for modules that can accommodate 8 x 10/100 FE, GbE,
OC-3/STM-1, DS-3 or 16 x T1/E1 ports and traffic uplink by dual GbE links in a
point-to-point or a ring application in a 1U footprint.

OSIRIS Compact – C622M Converged Access Node
The OSIRIS Compact C622M is an ultra-compact flexible access node that provides
a economical migration path toward a converged IP service network. The C622M is
the ideal platform for 2G/3G/4G mobile network backhaul, secure and scalable
carrier Ethernet transport, multi-service aggregation, quad-play connectivity
(voice, data, video and mobility), and technology mediation among TDM, ATM and

The C622M is a fully-featured 1U platform with a selectable OC-3 / OC-12

STM-1) and 2 GbE Ethernet ports Two (hot-swappable) expansion module slots allow
increasing system TDM and packet data capacity beyond the initial base

one of the many available types of modules. The OSIRIS Compact C622M includes a
broad set of network demarcation and Ethernet OAM capabilities to stand at the

The C622M incorporates SONET/SDH virtual concatenation (VCAT), link capacity
adjustment scheme (LCAS), generic framing procedure (GFP), and Layer 2 features
